Job summary

Heavenly Mountain Resort, part of Vail Resorts, is hiring an Advanced Retail Associate for the Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 at South Lake Tahoe, CA. You’ll greet guests, sell outdoor gear, and provide excellent service in a fast-paced mountain shop.

Starting wage is $21.50–$26.88 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package including free ski passes, discounts, training, and a 401(k) plan. Housing is not available; flexible scheduling including nights, holidays and weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest, understand their needs, and provide exceptional customer service
• Accurate and efficient processing of all retail sales
• Learn product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to guests
• Maintain excellent store visual standards by continually straightening, folding, and restocking merchandise
• Follow all company standards in regards to safety protocols and standard operating procedures
• Understand and follow both Vail Resorts’ and Patagonia’s environmental principles
• Other duties as assigned

The expected pay range is$21.50/hr - $26.88/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
