Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed respiratory therapist per West Virginia Board of Respiratory Care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to operate respiratory therapy equipment and provide patient education.

Responsibilities

• Operates oxygen and therapeutic gas equipment and administers prescribed doses.
• Responds to emergency codes and performs CPR as needed.
• Administers respiratory therapies and monitors patient response in ICU/ER/controls.
• Draws arterial blood gases and analyzes results.
• Maintains and cleans respiratory equipment and assists anesthesia as needed.
