Job summary

Total Safety in Indiana is seeking a Rescue Technician II to provide technical rescue standby for customer projects, including confined space and technical rope rescue, and to perform first aid and CPR within training scope.

You will assess hazards, prepare rescue equipment, draft preplans and RSA, conduct daily briefings, monitor conditions, and report observations to ensure worker safety; travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 40 Hour Rescue Technician certification or equivalent.
• Healthcare Provider CPR and First Aid with AED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical rescue standby for projects, including confined space and rope rescue.
• Assess hazards and draft rescue preplans and RSA.
• Prepare and maintain rescue equipment and PPE.
• Conduct daily job briefings with customers/workers.
• Monitor conditions and report observations to supervisor.
• Render first aid/CPR as trained.
• Travel to and from customer sites as required.
