Job summary

InnovaCare Physician Management Services, LLC is seeking an APRN/PA to cover multiple Florida clinic locations. You will handle patient appointments, perform routine exams, and coordinate care under supervision, focusing on direct patient care with administrative duties.

Ideal candidates hold an MSN/MPA, Florida license, and have 2+ years of adult medicine experience. BLS certification and excellent communication skills are required; fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Master of Science in Nursing (NP or PA) from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
  • Board Certification from an accredited board
  • Active, unrestricted NP or PA license in State of Florida
  • Two or more years of adult medicine experience as an NP or PA
  • BLS (AHA or Red Cross)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate a high level of skill with interpersonal relationships and communications with colleagues/patients
  • Willingness and ability to learn/adapt to practice in a value-based care setting

Responsibilities

  • Handle patient appointments and perform routine examinations under provider direction.
  • Discuss healthy lifestyle choices with patients for their age; order and interpret diagnostic tests and coordinate with other clinicians to maintain medical records.
  • Treat adults with illnesses and chronic conditions per standard of care.
  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, meds, vaccinations, and other care.
  • Examine patients, order/interpret diagnostic tests to determine diagnosis.
  • Advise patients on diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
  • Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of nurses and other staff involved in care.
  • Perform in-clinic procedures to diagnose or improve function of body parts.
  • Conduct research to study anatomy and new treatments or medications.
  • Spend 100% of time clinically focused on direct patient care plus admin tasks.
