Job summary

InnovaCare Health seeks a Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative tasks across our Florida clinics. You will greet patients, take vital signs, document medical histories, and prepare exam rooms to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient service.

You will assist physicians during visits, follow up on orders, manage specimens and EMR entries, and help maintain OSHA and CLIA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate is required.
• BLS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and prepare them for physical examinations, including vital signs and medications review.
• Assist providers during patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Record patient histories and routine lab procedures, and prepare specimens for transport to the lab.
• Maintain EMR, comply with OSHA and CLIA regulations, and manage clinical supplies.
