Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an Advanced Quality Engineer (AQE) 1 in its Service Hub Engineering group. The role leads design, development, validation, and implementation of test fixtures and test systems to support service operations and NPD.

Responsibilities include designing electrical, mechanical, and software-based test solutions, validating systems prior to use, and creating technical documentation. Travel to service locations and suppliers may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Portfolio of fixtures/test systems preferred.
• Experience with test fixture design, development, and implementation.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical fixture design.
• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SQL for data querying and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, validation, and implementation of test fixtures and test systems.
• Design and develop electrical, mechanical, and software-based test solutions.
• Lead validation and qualification of test systems prior to implementation.
• Create and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate with NPD Project Leaders to ensure service requirements are established before product launch.
• Manage multiple technical projects and priorities while ensuring timelines and quality objectives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve service readiness.
• Travel to service locations and suppliers as required.
