We are seeking both experienced and early-career Physician Associates/Assistants (PAs) and Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) who are motivated to grow, lead, and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, urgent care environment. At ConvenientMD, the Advanced Practitioner Level 2 (AP2) role is designed for clinicians ready to take the next step;combining strong clinical independence with leadership and mentorship.You’llserve as a trusted clinical resource, driving quality initiatives, supporting team development, and contributing to operational excellence, while practicing witha high levelof autonomy, including as the sole on-site provider when needed. In this role,you’llalsoleverageyour experience to mentor newer clinicians, all whilebenefitingfrom the support ofleadproviders and physicians to ensure safe, efficient, and exceptional patient care.

Your Impact

Deliver High-Quality Patient Care

  • Provide comprehensive, evidence-based urgent care to patients across the lifespan
  • Independently assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies and implementappropriate treatmentplans
  • Maintain competency across all urgent care clinical services

Ensure Clinical Excellence & Compliance

  • Completeaccurate,timely, and thorough documentation in the EMR
  • Maintain compliance with chart audit standards and clinical guidelines
  • Stay current with urgent care best practices, trends, and evolving clinical standards
  • Serve as a clinical resource for AP1s and new providers
  • Participate in onboarding, coaching, and mentorship initiatives
  • Support the development and growth of team members

Drive Operational Excellence

  • Identifyopportunities to improve clinic flow, reduce wait times, and enhance provider efficiency
  • Collaborate with clinic leadership on workflow optimization and team dynamics
  • Support clinic coverage needs with flexibility whilemaintaininghigh standardsof care
  • Adhere to regional floating and coverage expectations, including supporting nearby clinics as needed

Who You Are

Education,Licensure, & Certifications:

  • Master's degree and certification by Physician Assistant (PA) orFamilyNurse Practitioner (FNP) certifying body.
  • Must have andmaintaina DEA license with no restrictions.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification. We do not accept CPR, ACLS certifications, oronline onlyclasses.

Relevant experience: Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or a comparable ambulatory setting

  • Demonstratedtrack recordof high-quality clinical performance andstrong teamengagement

Relevant experience: Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care setting is preferred.

  • Strong leadership skills: Willing and able to mentorprovideras well as non-provider clinic staff.

  • Technically savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software and clinical management systems (EMR).
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations including the requirements of the HIPAA and OSHA and applicable state rules and regulations pertinent to medical practices.
  • Relevant drugs and their chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo.
  • Non-pharmaceutical patient care aids, their applicable uses, and relevance to patient care.
  • Current principles, methods, and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
