Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking an Advanced Practice Student Placement and Education Coordinator to oversee clinical placements, onboarding, and educational experiences across the network.

The coordinator will serve as the primary liaison among students, academic institutions, preceptors, clinical departments, talent acquisition, human resources, and Advanced Practice leadership to support a compliant, high-quality student experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, education, business administration, human resources, or related field preferred.
• Three years of experience in clinical education, student placement, or related setting required.
• Experience coordinating Advanced Practice, nursing, allied health, or other clinical learner placements in a health network, teaching hospital, or academic healthcare environment preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple placements, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, maintain confidential records, analyze program data, and improve administrative processes is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft Forms, is required.
• Experience with learning-management systems, survey tools, or student-placement platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Advanced Practice student placements and onboarding across the Network.
• Match eligible students with clinical experiences based on requirements and capacity.
• Monitor completion of affiliation, onboarding, compliance and clearance documentation.
• Maintain placement schedules, student records, evaluations, correspondence, and program data.
• Coordinate affiliation-review, renewal, and documentation with academic institutions and Network departments.
• Partner with Advanced Practice, service-line, and clinical leaders to identify preceptor and placement opportunities across specialties.
• Communicate placement expectations and resources to preceptors and departments.
• Support preceptor orientation, education, engagement, recognition, and feedback initiatives.
• Coordinate student and preceptor evaluations and monitor quality of experiences.
• Develop reports on placement volume, capacity, evaluations, and outcomes.
