Job summary

Connecticut Counseling Group is seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) for a part-time, hybrid position. The role involves psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults, with telehealth and in-office work in Shelton, CT. Earned compensation via 1099 with potential to grow into a full-time W-2.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut APRN or PA license.
• Current prescribing authority and DEA registration, as applicable.
• Experience providing psychiatric medication management.
• Experience treating children and adolescents strongly preferred.
• 3 years or more prescribing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication assessments
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications

About the Role

• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
• Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up appointments
• Monitor treatment effectiveness, side effects, and overall clinical progress
• Collaborate with therapists, families, primary care providers, and other members of the treatment team
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
