Job summary

HIAAH in Connecticut is seeking a compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (APRN/PMHNP) to provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. You will collaborate with therapists and other clinicians to deliver integrated, patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate holds an active CT APRN/PMHNP license, DEA registration, and has 1–3 years of pediatric behavioral health experience.

Qualifications

  • Active unrestricted APRN or PMHNP license in CT.
  • Experience working with children/adolescents in psychiatric/behavioral health.
  • Ability to practice independently without MD collaboration in CT.
  • Valid DEA registration.
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
  • Must be 1099/Independent Contractor with a competitive percentage split compensation.
  • 1–3 years of experience preferred.

  • Monitor treatment response, side effects, and adherence, making adjustments as needed.

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (APRN/PMHNP) to join our mental health practice. In this role, you will provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management services to clients across the lifespan, with a strong focus on children and adolescents. You will work collaboratively with therapists and other providers to ensure integrated, patient-centered care, addressing conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and other behavioral health concerns.

Responsibilities

Requirements
Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted APRN or PMHNP license in the state of Connecticut.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting is required.
  • Ability to practice independently (must not require MD collaboration in the state of Connecticut).
  • Valid and current DEA registration.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must agree to be 1099/Independent Contractor with a competitive percentage split compensation model.
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred
