- Provide health care services to individuals, families, and groups under Sentara Medical Group
- Conduct health assessments
- Prescribe and provide treatments and interventions
- Perform occupational medicine regulatory exams
- Perform procedures in a walk-in Urgent Care center
- Provide care under the direction and supervision of assigned physicians through a collaborative agreement
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities

Requirements
- Masters Level Degree (Required) NP or PA
- NP/PA State License (Required)
- DEA (Required)
- DOT- Department of Transportation (Required)
- BLS (Required)
- ACLS
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a practicing provider in an urgent or emergency care setting
- Must be DOT certified before starting; certification is reimbursed
- National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME) expected within 30 days of employment; not required at time of offer
- Prescription Authority required for Virginia staff only
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and 12-hour shifts
- Flexibility to move between regional Urgent Care locations
- Ability to work independently under direct or indirect supervision
- Astute situational awareness and ability to move quickly without compromising quality or customer service
- Maintain continuing education credits and prescriptive authority
- Ability to complete 96 hours per month
