Job summary

ReGenesis Health Care in Union, SC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our clinical team. You will provide comprehensive primary care and preventive services, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), within a Federally Qualified Health Center that serves underserved communities.

As part of a collaborative, mission-driven team, you will manage acute and chronic conditions, order tests, and use EMR systems to document care while focusing on accessible, quality care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current South Carolina APRN or PA license or eligibility.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Experience with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient-management skills.
• Proficient EMR use and excellent documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary and preventive healthcare to diverse patient populations.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries; manage chronic conditions.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies.
• Prescribe medications and evidence-based treatments within scope of practice.
• Deliver MAT and ongoing care for patients with substance use disorders.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyles.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with the care team; maintain EMR documentation.
• Follow clinical protocols and quality standards; perform in-office procedures as trained.

ReGenesis Health Care, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our clinical team in Union, South Carolina.

This is an excellent opportunity for an advanced practice provider who is passionate about primary care, preventive medicine, and improving access to healthcare for underserved communities. The provider will deliver comprehensive primary care and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services while working as part of a collaborative, mission-driven healthcare team.

What You'll Do

As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will:

• Provide comprehensive primary and preventive healthcare to diverse patient populations.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
• Manage chronic conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Order, perform, and interpret appropriate laboratory tests and diagnostic studies.
• Prescribe medications and evidence-based treatments within your scope of practice.
• Provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and ongoing care for patients with substance use disorders.
• Educate patients regarding disease prevention, treatment plans, medications, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with physicians, behavioral health professionals, nursing staff, pharmacy, and other members of the care team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Follow established clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform appropriate in-office procedures based on training, competency, and scope of practice, which may include Pap smears, IUD/Nexplanon placement, biopsies, joint injections, nail removals, suturing, wart cryotherapy, and incision and drainage.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Current or eligible for South Carolina licensure as an APRN/Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience
• Experience or demonstrated competency in providing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient-management skills
• Ability to effectively use an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Excellent communication, documentation, and patient-education skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate, culturally responsive care to medically underserved populations
