Job summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a qualified nurse practitioner or physician assistant for a Primary Care role split between Galesburg IL and Knoxville IL. This position focuses on patient assessments, care planning, and patient education, offering excellent work-life balance with no call or weekends. The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree, relevant licensure, and experience in primary care. Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
• Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
• Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in primary care is preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Job Specifics

Join an established Primary Care practice. Position is split between Galesburg IL and Knoxville IL.

• Perform patient assessment and assign diagnosis based on recorded assessment data and current scientific and current research.
• Establish plan of care and implement interventions in accordance with care paths, protocols, standards of care and current research.
• Provide education and counseling to patients, families and groups.
• Clinic hours are Monday – Friday 8am-5pm.
• Excellent work/life balance with no call or weekends.

• Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $55.20-63.65 hr. This is a salaried position.

• Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
• Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
