Job summary

OSF HealthCare is hiring a PRN Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their Primary Care practice in Peoria, Illinois. Expected pay for this position is $55.20 - $63.65/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

Overview

Job Specifics

• Join an established Primary Care practice
• Perform patient assessment and assign diagnosis based on recorded assessment data and current scientific and current research.
• Establish plan of care and implement interventions in accordance with care paths, protocols, standards of care and current research.
• Provide education and counseling to patients, families and groups.
• Clinic hours are Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
• This PRN APP will float to different OSF Primary Care, Family and Internal Medicine clinics within a 25 mile radius of Peoria, IL.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program
• Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
• Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in primary care or a related field is preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
