Job summary

OSF HealthCare seeks a qualified professional for a Primary Care position located between Galesburg IL and Knoxville IL. This role involves patient assessments, establishing care plans, and providing education.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in nursing or physician assistant studies, possess the necessary certifications, and have a minimum of two years in primary care. Offers excellent benefits, including generous paid time off and without weekend work.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
• Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
• Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Skills

Current Illinois license

Expected pay for this position is $55.20 - $63.65/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

Overview

• Join an established Primary Care practice. Position is split between Galesburg IL and Knoxville IL.
• Perform patient assessment and assign diagnosis based on recorded assessment data and current scientific and current research.
• Establish plan of care and implement interventions in accordance with care paths, protocols, standards of care and current research.
• Provide education and counseling to patients, families and groups.
• Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8am-5pm.
• Excellent work/life balance with no call or weekends.

• Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $55.20-63.65 hr. This is a salaried position.

Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program
• Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant

• Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in primary care or a related field is preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
