The role involves assessing and treating patients in an urgent care environment, diagnosing health issues, and providing necessary interventions. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in urgent or primary care.
The Urgent Care (UC) Advanced Practice Provider, (APP), Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, is part of an interdisciplinary team and responsible for treating patients of all ages in an urgent care setting. The UC APP is responsible for examining and treating episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and work-related health problems, as well as performing specialized occupation health exams (including Department of Transportation (DOT) and other fitness for duty exams).
