Job summary

Wabash General Hospital is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or APRN) for the Wabash Community Health Center in Mt. Carmel, IL. The role covers in-office patient care, examinations, diagnoses, and treatment under supervisory agreement with a physician.

The position requires Illinois licensure, CPR and pediatric PALS; ACLS is preferred. On-site, full-time with comprehensive benefits and opportunity for growth within a patient-focused healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Licensed and current registration as a certified DEA Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in Illinois.
• Graduate of an accredited university.
• Prior clinical experience preferred.
• Current CPR training, PALS for pediatric patients.
• ACLS training, preferred.
• Must be available to see patients requiring same-day office visits.
• Great deal of walking, lifting, stooping, bending, and pushing.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-office patient care, histories and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries and order/interpret labs and imaging.
• Maintain accurate records and health documentation; coordinate referrals and follow-up.

Education
