Qualifications

• Active RN and APRN license in state of practice.
• Active national board certification in area of clinical practice.
• Active DEA registration prior to hire.
• If Illinois practice: active Illinois Controlled Substance License prior to hire.
• Active BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NR P as required by clinical practice prior to or within 6 months of hire.
• Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing or Master’s in Physician Studies.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage treatment plans per patient age and acuity.
• Order, perform and interpret diagnostic studies and prescribe therapies.
• Provide health promotion and disease prevention counseling.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team and refer as needed.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation with compliant coding and billing.
• Facilitate coordinated care and clear communication among healthcare team.
