Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history, perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic studies, and conduct preventative health assessments.
• Provide direct treatment and manage health conditions, referring patients to other providers when necessary.
• Educate patients and families about health, treatment options, and community resources.
• Document healthcare services in accordance with standards and policies.

Requirements

• Texas Board of Nursing Nurse Practitioner and RN credentials (obtained prior to hire)
• BLS certification from AHA preferred
• DEA registration preferred
