Job Details

• Schedule: 7a-7p, weekend and holiday rotation
• Practice supports 8 physicians
• EMR System: Cerner/Compass and Athena
• Facility: Dell Seton Medical Center at UT
• Location: Austin, TX

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history, perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic studies.
• Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions, refer to other healthcare providers as needed.
• Educate patients and families about health, treatment options, and community resources.
• Document healthcare delivery according to standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Texas Board of Nursing credential as Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse (required prior to hire).
• BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association (preferred).
• DEA license (preferred).
• Master's degree in Nursing (required).
