Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) in North Carolina.
• Board certification if required by the Department; DEA.
• No prior experience required.
• Demonstrated clinical competency.
• Effective leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain health history and perform physical assessments, develop differential diagnoses, and implement treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment, and follow-up.
• Provide instruction to physicians, housestaff, nursing, and students; participate in rounds and meetings.
• Interact with patients and families respectfully and collaborate with the care team.
• Participate in quality improvement and interdisciplinary care initiatives.
