Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in the state of North Carolina.
• Board certification if required by the Department; DEA.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and perform physical examinations; develop differential diagnoses.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with appropriate medications per guidelines.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment, and follow-up.
• Provide instruction to physicians, housestaff, nursing, and students; engage in teaching.
• Lead quality improvement and participate in departmental projects to enhance care.
