Job summary

SENTA Partners is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our ENT and Allergy clinics serving Braselton and Gainesville. This full-time role covers evaluation, follow-up care, and patient communication under moderate supervision.

You will evaluate upper respiratory, allergy, asthma, and dermatologic conditions, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, order studies, and collaborate with physicians to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted NP or PA licensure in GA.
  • Certification through an accredited NP or PA program.
  • Experience in a clinical or outpatient setting; ENT or Allergy preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills focused on patient safety and quality care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families and team members.
  • Proficient in using EHR systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to provide patient care for all ages.
  • Eligible for hospital privileges.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including interval histories and assessments for follow-up visits.
  • Perform focused physical examinations of head, neck, ears, nose, throat, chest, and skin.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with clear documentation.
  • Provide clinical assessments and formulate differential diagnoses for ENT and allergy conditions.
  • Prescribe medications within prescriptive authority.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies (labs, radiology, CT, audiograms).
  • Assist in managing immunotherapy reactions and seek physician input for severe cases.
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians for consultation in complex cases.

NEGA recently added the allergy service line to better meet the needs of our patients. Position Summary

The Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within our ENT and Allergy clinics. This position provides comprehensive support in case management, follow-up care, and patient communication. Working under moderate supervision, the APP evaluates and manages patients with upper respiratory, allergy, asthma, and dermatologic conditions while collaborating closely with clinic physicians in complex cases to ensure optimal outcomes. This a full-time role, 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including interval histories and assessments for follow-up visits.
  • Perform focused physical examinations of the head, neck, ears, nose, throat, chest, and skin as clinically appropriate.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring all care is documented clearly and communicated effectively with patients.
  • Provide clinical assessments and formulate differential diagnoses related to ENT and allergy conditions.
  • Prescribe medications within prescriptive authority, including antihistamines, decongestants, mucolytics, bronchodilators, inhaled and oral steroids, and antibiotics.
  • Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic studies such as laboratory tests, radiology, CT scans, and audiograms.
  • Assist in managing and treating reactions related to immunotherapy, seeking physician consultation for cases of greater severity.
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians for consultation in complex or difficult cases, whether in person or by phone.
  • No Weekend/Holiday call currently required.

Requirements
Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting, preferably in ENT or Allergy.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • APP must be able to provide patient care for all age demographics.
  • Eligible for hospital privileges.
