Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) with urology experience to join a hospital-owned urology practice in Rutland, Vermont. This role offers an independent patient panel, strong physician collaboration, and an excellent work‑life balance.

The position requires at least 2 years of NP or PA experience in urology, Vermont licensure, and completion of department certifications as applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years NP or PA experience in urology.
• Vermont licensure or ability to obtain licensure.
• Unit-specific certifications as required (ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC as applicable).
• Completion of patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint certification per department guidelines

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient urology care.
• Conduct detailed histories and physical examinations.
• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic urologic conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies (labs, imaging, etc.).
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Provide patient education and counseling.
• Participate in first-call coverage as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Job Type: Full time. Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.

Location: Rutland, Vermont

We are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) with urology experience to join a hospital-owned urology practice within a respected 144-bed community hospital. This role offers an independent patient panel, strong physician collaboration, and an excellent work-life balance.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient urology care
• Conduct detailed histories and physical examinations
• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic urologic conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies (labs, imaging, etc.)
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Provide patient education and counseling

Qualifications

For Nurse Practitioners:

• Master’s degree in Nursing
• National certification through ANCC or equivalent

• Registered with the Vermont State Board of Medical Practice

For All Candidates:

• Minimum 2 years of NP or PA experience in urology required
• Vermont licensure (or ability to obtain)
