Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. in Rutland, VT is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) with urology experience to join a hospital-owned urology practice.

The role offers an independent patient panel, strong physician collaboration, and an excellent work-life balance. You will provide outpatient urology care, perform histories and exams, manage conditions, order studies, and contribute to quality initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of NP or PA experience in urology.
Vermont licensure or ability to obtain.
Unit-specific certifications (ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC as applicable).
Completion of patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint certification per department guidelines.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive outpatient urology care
Conduct detailed histories and physical examinations
Evaluate and manage acute and chronic urologic conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic studies (labs, imaging, etc.)
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
Provide patient education and counseling
Participate in first-call coverage as appropriate
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Compensation: Competitive salary + Sign-On Bonus + Relocation + Loan Assistance

Job Type: Full time. Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.

Location: Rutland, Vermont

We are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) with urology experience to join a hospital-owned urology practice within a respected 144-bed community hospital. This role offers an independent patient panel, strong physician collaboration, and an excellent work-life balance.

Job Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive outpatient urology care
Conduct detailed histories and physical examinations
Evaluate and manage acute and chronic urologic conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic studies (labs, imaging, etc.)
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
Provide patient education and counseling

Qualifications

For Nurse Practitioners:

National certification through ANCC or equivalent
Registered with the Vermont State Board of Nursing

For Physician Assistants:

Registered with the Vermont State Board of Medical Practice

For All Candidates:
