Job summary

Sentara Medical Group is seeking an Inpatient Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Neurology Specialists team at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA.

This role offers autonomy within a supportive, collaborative environment, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and a case mix of 10–12 patients per day. Epic EHR is used for integrated patient care and documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program with hands-on clinical training.
• Active Virginia NP or PA license.
• Current DEA license.
• Ability to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care with a high level of clinical independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient neurology care with autonomy within a collaborative team.
• Manage 10–12 patients per day.
• Follow a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule with no nights or weekend call.
• Use Epic EHR for documentation and care coordination.
