Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health in Camden, NJ seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to cover the Neuro Intensive Care Unit. You must be board-certified and have ICU-related experience (neuro, trauma, neurology, surgery) to care for complex patients. This is a full-time night shift, 40 hours weekly, with training provided.

The role includes reviewing imaging, collaborating with two Neurointensivists and residents, and providing weekend and holiday coverage. NJ license required.

Short Description

Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Advance Practice Nurse) for Neuro Intensive Care Unit - Full Time

Applicant should be board-certified.

Experienced candidates required (ICU, Neurosurgery, In-patient Neurology, Trauma, Surgery, Hospitalist, and/or Emergency Medicine) to meet the needs of this complex patient cohort.

The Advance Practice Provider will manage neuro-critical care patients augmenting existing provider compliment of 2 Neurointensivists along with rotational Residents in Neurology and Neurosurgery.

The Advance Practice Provider will provide coverage overnights, weekends, and holidays, full-time night shift.

The provider should be comfortable with reviewing imaging.

Training will be provided to ensure optimal patient care.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

License/Certification Requirements

New Jersey Advanced Practice Nurse & Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant
