Bryan Health seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver direct patient care for acutely ill adults in an inpatient setting in Nebraska. The role includes coordinating multidisciplinary care, developing treatment plans, and ensuring patient safety during shifts.
Candidates must hold Nebraska RN licensure or a compact state license, with MSN/APRN or PA credentialing, DEA authority, and 2+ years of acute care experience preferred.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing direct patient care and coordinating collaborative patient care during assigned shifts for acutely ill patients, including those patients of high acuity and those who are critically ill. Additional administrative duties will be assigned to support the success of the Hospital Medicine Service, including performance improvement activities and participation in CQI activities.
PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Current Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Nebraska or approved compact state of residence as defined by the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act required. Master of Science degree in Nursing with current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Nebraska required. Two (2) years of advanced practice experience in an acute care setting preferred. Certification with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration for prescriptive authority required.
Graduate degree from a Physician’s Assistant program required. Current licensure as a Physician Assistant required. Completion of Bryan credentialing and re-credentialing process required for employment. Two (2) years of advanced practice experience in an acute care setting preferred. Certification with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration for prescriptive authority required.
Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required. Bryan Health recognizes American Heart Association (for healthcare professionals), American Red Cross (for healthcare professionals) and the Military Training Network.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required. Current NIHSS certification required.
