Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid TN RN license required.
• ANCC or AANP certification required.
• Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 2 years NP/advanced practice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat minor injuries/illness; perform exams and prescribe within scope.
• Collaborate with supervising physician and other clinicians to ensure quality care.
• Notes are accurate, timely, and documented in the EHR; complete sign-offs and results.
• Communicate care plans, follow-ups, and referrals to patients in an age-appropriate manner.
• Respond to clinical staff requests for guidance on patient care.
• Assist with quality assurance, data collection, and orientation of staff as needed.
• Document all patient care for billing; maintain logs and records.
• Engage in annual continuing education to maintain certification and improve processes.
