Job summary

Maury Regional Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for the Lewisburg Pediatrics clinic. The APP will work PRN from 7a to 5p, delivering patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the pediatric team.

Responsibilities include taking histories, performing exams, ordering tests, forming treatment plans, and providing patient education while maintaining safety and adherence to clinical guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner/ APRN is required.
  • BLS certification required or obtained during orientation.
  • Or licensed as a Physician Assistant with BLS.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within licensure and privileges.
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients across the continuum of care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to support safety and outcomes.

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) delivers high-quality, patient-centered healthcare within the scope of licensure and clinical privileges. Working collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members, the APP assesses, diagnoses, treats, and manages patients across the continuum of care. Responsibilities include obtaining medical histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications as authorized, providing patient education, and promoting preventive care. The APP is committed to delivering safe, evidence-based care while supporting organizational goals related to quality, patient experience, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
