Job summary

Sentara Medical Group is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to support the Electrophysiology Cardiology service line in Hampton, VA. The role blends inpatient and outpatient care with emphasis on surgical/procedural EP tasks, offering meaningful autonomy and strong team support.

Tasks include first assist for EP procedures, independent access/closure work, and weekend rounding every fifth weekend. Phone-based call is required, with a 70/30 inpatient/outpatient split and a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Advanced Practice Provider in electrophysiology cardiology.
• Surgical and procedural focus with autonomy and support.
• Experience in EP procedures is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities (approximately 70/30).
• First assist in ablations, cardioversions, and loop implants.
• Independently perform access and closure.
• Weekend rounding every fifth weekend; call by phone only (1 day every 3 weeks).
