Job summary

The Hemlock Pain Center in Macon, GA seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its pain management team. This full-time outpatient role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, with no nights or weekends, and collaboration with experienced physicians.

Responsibilities include patient evaluations, imaging review, treatment planning, diagnostic testing, and EMR documentation; strong clinical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia NP or PA license in good standing.
• Active DEA and CDS licenses.
• Experience in pain management/outpatient clinic preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills.

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Pain Management

Macon, GA | Full-Time

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations
• Review imaging and diagnostic studies
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with practice guidelines
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, and expected outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
• Respond to patient questions and care-related messages
• Collaborate closely with physicians regarding interventional pain management procedures
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on improving quality of life

What We're Looking For

• Active Georgia Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing
• Active DEA and CDS licenses
• Previous Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience preferred
• Pain management, neurology, spine, or outpatient clinic experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• EMR proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care
