Brown University Health is looking for a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide surgical patients and their families with continuity of care in outpatient settings. This role requires strong collaboration with other healthcare providers and education of medical students.
The qualified candidate must have a Master's Degree and current Rhode Island licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. The position offers a supportive environment where respect and dignity are prioritized.
The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will provide the surgical patient and their family with continuity of care in the outpatient setting. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will act as an integral part of the surgical service. The practitioner will also act as an educator and a liaison to other health care providers providing care across the care continuum.
