• Licensed NP or PA with current state certification.
• Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.
• Provide nursing expertise in diagnosis, treatment, and health promotion to improve outcomes.
• Knowledge of patient assessment techniques, taking histories, performing physicals, and evaluating wellness.
• Knowledge of documenting medical records in a confidential manner.

Responsibilities

• Capture dialysis unit patients (billed under physician).
• Collaborate with physicians to alternate care; may have a clinic panel.
• No weekend shifts or on-call responsibilities.
• Hospital rounding with attending nephrologist.

Although previous nephrology experience is preferred, APP candidates must have a strong background in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Emergency Room, MedSurg, or ICU. The ideal candidate will be ready to learn and hit the ground running in this high-demand group!

Competitive Hiring Package

• Starting base salary $150,000 - $171,000, depending on experience
• 1 week of CME per year – CME registration, travel, and lodging covered by practice

Schedule/Practice Details

• No weekend or call coverage is expected
• Responsible for capturing dialysis unit patients (billed under the physician)
• May have their own panel of clinic patients, but the majority will be collaborating with physicians to alternate care
• Hospital-rounding will be with attending Nephrologist

This role has a salary range of$150,000 - $171,000 and regular, full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid time off (PTO).
