Job summary

West Coast Kidney Institute is seeking passionate Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join their nephrology-focused team within the Panoramic Health network.

No weekend or on-call coverage is expected; you will capture dialysis unit patients, may have a clinic panel, and work closely with physicians to alternate care. Hospital rounds will be with a nephrologist. Competitive base salary plus comprehensive benefits and CME included.

Qualifications

• Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.
• Knowledge of patient assessment techniques and medical record documentation.

Although previous nephrology experience is preferred, APP candidates must have a strong background in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Emergency Room, MedSurg, or ICU. The ideal candidate will be ready to learn and hit the ground running in this high-demand group!

Competitive Hiring Package

• Starting base salary $150,000 - $171,000, depending on experience
• 1 week of CME per year – CME registration, travel, and lodging covered by practice

Schedule/Practice Details

• No weekend or call coverage is expected
• Responsible for capturing dialysis unit patients (billed under the physician)
• May have their own panel of clinic patients, but the majority will be collaborating with physicians to alternate care
• Hospital-rounding will be with attending Nephrologist

• Provide nursingexpertisein diagnosis and treatment to prevent, remediate, or alleviate illness and promote health,thus,resulting in improved patient outcomes.
• Knowledge of patient assessment techniquesincludingtaking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status including state of wellness, and compliance with care recommendations.
• Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans.
• Knowledge of medical records documentation in a confidential manner.

This role has a salary range of$150,000 - $171,000 and regular, full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid time off (PTO).
