Job summary

WellSpan Health in the West Region seeks an Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) for Urgent Care. The role covers walks-in patients across ages with 8 AM–8 PM operations, and 3–13 hour shifts, rotating weekends.

You will float among Greencastle, Chambersburg, Shippensburg and Waynesboro urgent care sites, using the EHR and on-site imaging to deliver timely care.

Qualifications

• 1 year of work experience in urgent care or similar setting.
• Masters degree and licensure as NP or PA required; physician assistant accepted with required licensure.
• Ability to float between multiple urgent care sites in the West Region.

Responsibilities

• Open 7 days a week from 8 AM to 8 PM and provide care in a walk-in facility.
• Treat patients of all ages with focus on urgent care needs.
• Float between Greencastle, Chambersburg, Shippensburg and Waynesboro locations.
• Utilize the system-wide EHR and on-site imaging resources.

Education

Masters degree Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Bachelors degree Physician Assistant

Courses and Training:

• BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and
