WellSpan Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional for the General Surgery team in Chambersburg, PA. The role blends inpatient care, outpatient follow-up, surgical first assist responsibilities, and patient management across a broad set of elective and emergency cases.

Work with three surgeons and two APPs in a dynamic general surgery practice. Expect a rotating schedule with day/evening/overnight shifts, mentorship for new graduates, and a competitive compensation plan including

Qualifications

• Requires NP or PA credentials with board certification where applicable.
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings preferred.
• Surgical first assist responsibilities included in role.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care and outpatient follow-up for general surgery patients.
• Assist in surgical procedures and postoperative care.
• Rounding, triage, consults, and OR support with a team of surgeons and APPs.
• Flexible scheduling with day, evening, and overnight coverage across ~36 hours/week.
• Mentorship for new graduates and hands-on surgical exposure.

Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider – General Surgery
