Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner for the Baltimore Central Booking & Intake Center (BCBIC) in Baltimore, Maryland. The role operates on a Part-Time Weekend/Saturday-Sunday Night Shift from 12am to 8am, under physician supervision in a correctional setting.

The NP will deliver health care, assess patients, diagnose conditions, and manage medications within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring patient care continuity and safety in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Maryland APRN license
• ANCC or AANP Certified Nurse Practitioner
• Ability to pass background check
• 2+ years’ experience working as an NP
• Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration and State CDS registration

The Nurse Practitioner works under the supervision of a physician in a correctional environment and is responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management. This includes collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, performing assessments, diagnosing patients, and medication management.
