Centurion Health seeks a part-time Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) to manage addiction disorders and provide primary care at the Metropolitan Transition Center in Baltimore, MD.

The role involves working under physician supervision in a correctional environment, performing assessments, diagnosing patients, and medication management, with a Monday and Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. schedule.

Formación

• Active, unrestricted Maryland APRN license.
• DEA registration is required.
• 2+ years' experience working as an NP.
• One to two years' experience in a progressive supervisory or management position in an outpatient/inpatient substance abuse program.
• Two years' experience providing direct care in a community or correctional substance abuse program.

We are currently seeking a part-time Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) with experience in managing addiction disorders and providing primary care at the Metropolitan Transition Center in Jessup, Maryland.

This position is part-time Monday and Friday from 8a-430p

The Nurse Practitioner works under the supervision of a physician in a correctional environment and is responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management. This includes collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, performing assessments, diagnosing patients, and medication management.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Maryland APRN license

• Two years' experience providing direct care in a community or correctional substance abuse program
