The Advanced Practice Professional (APP) is responsible for managing endocrinology patients in inpatient, outpatient, and outreach settings. This includes conducting assessments, developing care plans, performing procedures, and coordinating with medical teams. The APP also participates in teaching and research activities.
For Nurse Practitioners: Master's degree in Nursing from a CCNE-accredited program, national certification, West Virginia RN and APRN licensure, BLS certification, and endocrinology experience preferred.
For Physician Assistants: Bachelor's or Master's degree, ARC-PA approval, NCCPA certification, WV licensure eligibility, BLS certification, and preferably experience in endocrinology.
Requires physical stamina for patient care activities, working in environments with biohazards, infectious diseases, and around equipment; protracted hours may be involved.
40 hours/week, exempt position, located at 800 Wheeling Avenue, Glen Dale, WV. Equal Opportunity Employer.
