Job summary

SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical Surgical Float Pool. The nurse will assess, manage, and direct nursing care during the patient’s hospital stay and coordinate care planning with other disciplines using a patient/customer focused approach.

Must be highly energetic, flexible, and motivated to support the success of Saint Louis University Hospital. The position involves working in Medical Surgical units with patient-centered care delivery.

Qualifications

• RN license required or eligible for licensure (per local/state rules).
• Proven ability to perform comprehensive nursing assessment and reassessment.

• Documents findings accurately and completely.
• Assesses and documents education and discharge needs of patient and family on admission and throughout hospitalization.
