The University of Kansas Health System invites applications for a Full-time Advanced Practice Provider in the Westwood, KS area to support Hematology and/or Oncology specialties. The APP will assess health status, propose treatment plans, and coordinate care with physicians within a collaborative practice agreement.

Required qualifications include a Master's or DNP for APRNs or a PA degree, valid KS/MO advanced practice license, and BLS. Oncology certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing for APRNs or Doctor of Nursing Practice for APRNs or Master's in Physician Assistant.
• Current APRN license in KS and/or MO (or PA license) depending on location.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced oncology certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate medical problems in hematology/oncology and refer complex cases as needed.
• Educate patients and families on preventive care and treatments.
• Develop diagnostically appropriate treatment plans and monitor responses.
• Coordinate care with physicians and the health care team and ensure documentation compliance.
