Job summary

Qualifications

• APRN or PA licensure in KS/MO as applicable.
• Master’s degree in APRN or PA program completed.
• Active professional certifications required for practice.
• Oncology/hematology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medical problems and consult other specialties when indicated.
• Educate patients and families on care and medications.
• Create diagnostically appropriate treatment plans.
• Document evaluations, diagnoses, procedures and referrals.
• Maintain coding and billing documentation compliance.
• Coordinate with physicians and inter-disciplinary team.
• Refer complex cases to collaborating physicians as needed.
• Provide medical and emergency interventions as required.
