Job summary

Mayo Clinic Arizona seeks a Master’s-prepared Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS)–APRN to serve as a clinical expert and nursing leader. You will partner with interdisciplinary teams to advance evidence-based practice, improve patient outcomes, and support quality and practice excellence across specialty areas.

The CNS works within the three spheres of influence and collaborates to strengthen patient care. Relocation may be available; TN sponsorship may be required.

Qualifications

Master's degree in nursing with a Clinical Nurse Specialist focus.
Experience as a CNS preferred.
Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree preferred.
Five years of nursing experience with two in the CNS specialty preferred.
PCU or Critical Care background required.
RN license and APRN-CNS certification as applicable.
BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Serve as a clinical expert and nursing leader, partnering with interdisciplinary teams.
Advance evidence-based practice and improve patient outcomes.
Support quality and practice excellence across specialty areas.
Act as a leader within the Patient/Client, Nursing Practice, and Organization spheres of influence.
