Responsibilities

• Take thorough medical histories and perform physical examinations.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging as needed for evaluation.
• Prescribe and monitor medications where permitted by license.
• Educate patients about diseases, treatments and risks/side effects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure quality care.
• Refer patients to specialists and coordinate follow-up care.
• Support professional development and education of healthcare staff.

Education

MSN required upon hire or within 3 years

Graduate of accredited APRN program

Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies (PA)
