Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Somerville, MA team. You will provide comprehensive, longitudinal care and coordinate care plans for a panel of patients in a primary care setting.

We offer a competitive compensation range ($107,723.20 – $193,315.20), base pay plus potential bonus, comprehensive benefits, and the support of a national organization committed to delivering high‑quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (Masters level preferred).
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts board of registration in Nursing.
• National Board Certification.
• Current active Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration or ability to obtain post-hire.
• Current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive, longitudinal clinical and administrative coordination of care for a specific patient panel.
• Examination, diagnosis and treatment in a primary care setting; supervision of care plans and referrals to specialists.
• Monitor and manage patients with acute and chronic illnesses; adjust treatment regimens as needed.
• Collaborate with patients and families to manage care plans.
• Provide consultation regarding hospitalized patients within the panel.
• Provide direction and support to staff to ensure departmental effectiveness.
