Job summary

New York Cancer and Blood Specialists (NYCBS) is seeking an APP or PA in Kips Bay, NY to provide advanced practice care to Oncology/Hematology patients. The role emphasizes coordinating comprehensive care, building treatment plans, and optimizing perioperative and post-op workflows.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Current APRN Licensure or Physician Assistant License.
At least one year of Oncology/Hematology experience preferred.
Strong computer skills; EMR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage health problems and coordinate care for Oncology/Hematology patients in line with state/federal regulations and nursing standards.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient status.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to prepare patients preoperatively and manage postoperative care.
Deliver patient-centered care focused on improving outcomes and patient experience.
