Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA) to join the VIP Tullahoma Pt Svcs - Adult team. The APC will work under physician alignment, manage an adult patient population, and participate in outpatient and inpatient care as needed.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, adherence to clinical pathways, and collaboration with the attending physician group to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• LIC-Licensed Nurse Practitioner - Tennessee
• LIC-Physician's Assistant Certified - Tennessee
• Work Experience: 1 year
• Education: Master's

Responsibilities

• Assess health status and perform comprehensive history and physicals for patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and document in medical records.
• Coordinate daily clinic schedule with attending physician team and plan of care.
• Prescribe diagnostic strategies and therapeutic interventions as appropriate.
• Maintain ongoing communication with interdisciplinary health care team and patients.
• Document progress notes, discharge summaries, and care plans timely and accurately.
