Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA) to join our patient-centered care team. The APC will manage a distinct patient population, perform outpatient and inpatient care, and support safe transitions and follow-up within clinical pathways.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, high-quality documentation, professional development, and collaboration with the physician group to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies.
• Active Tennessee NP or PA license required.
• Strong clinical judgment and collaboration with physicians.

Responsibilities

• Assess health status and document comprehensive histories and exams.
• Coordinate daily clinic activities with attending physician teams.
• Order tests, interpret results, and adjust plans of care accordingly.
• Provide diagnostics and therapeutic interventions within scope.
• Perform procedures as privileges permit and supervise others as needed.
• Maintain timely patient communication, documentation, and handoffs.
• Engage in professional development, rounds, and research activities.
