Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) seeks an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/CNM/PA) to provide patient-centered reproductive and sexual healthcare in a flexible, part-time schedule.

Responsibilities include contraceptive management, GYN care, counseling, and appropriate referrals, with EPIC EMR experience valued. The role emphasizes cultural competence, teamwork, and community impact in VT communities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provides compassionate patient care in line with PPNNE standards.
  • Assesses health status and contraceptive options for patients.
  • Counsels on reproductive health, including contraception and pregnancy options.
  • Delivers culturally and linguistically appropriate care.
  • Performs comprehensive reproductive exams and screenings.
  • Makes appropriate referrals to physicians or other services.
  • Accurately codes medical services to support revenue cycle.

POSITION TITLE: Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/CNM/PA)

LOCATION: Remote Care Team (Tuesdays), White River Junction ( Wednesdays), Barre (Thursdays), Rutland ( Fridays)

HOURS:Part Time, 28.5/week , Hourly (Non-Exempt)

UNION MEMBERSHIP:This position is represented by AFT union in VT

POSITION PURPOSE: Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC) provide patient-centered, personalized health care to clients. APCs along with Health Center support staff create a safe, non judgmental environment for people of all genders to access high quality reproductive & sexual healthcare.

YOUR DAY- TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides exceptional patient-centered care, in a manner that ensures compliance with current PPNNE efficiency and productivity standards.
  • Assesses patient's health status and prescribes appropriate contraceptive methods, treatments for GYN problems
  • Counsels/educates patients regarding general reproductive health care; all FDA-approved methods of birth control, including emergency contraception; pregnancy options including abortion, adoption as well as Gender Aff
  • Provides health care that is culturally and linguistically appropriate to PPNNE patient populations.
  • Performs appropriate physical exams, with focus on the reproductive system, including standard initial and annual exams, and screening procedures
  • Refers patients to physicians and other health or social services as appropriate
  • Responsible for accurately coding for medical services provided, in support of the organization’s overall revenue cycle.

COMPENSATION:
  • Pay Range -the range of pay for this role begins at $56/hr
